Dolphin pingers are small acoustic devices designed to reduce accidental dolphin bycatch in fishing operations. These devices emit harmless underwater sound signals at specific frequencies that alert dolphins to the presence of fishing nets, allowing them to avoid entanglement. Widely used in sustainable fishing practices, dolphin pingers serve as an eco-friendly solution to protect marine mammals while supporting fishermen in maintaining responsible catches. - Our internal electronic capsule is locked inside the external housing – the internal electronic capsule cannot fall out while Pinger is attached to the net, unlike competitors’ products.
- Our Pingers are easily and quickly attached to net ropes of all size. No need to thread ropes through our casing means faster, easier attaching and removing.
- Only Pinger that offers choice to use either Alkaline or long-life Lithium-Ion battery.
- Easy to see battery level LED indicator with Red LED low battery warning.
- Easy to replace batteries. Pingers are supplied with batteries and attachment cord – ready to fit too easily and quickly to your net.
